TubeDroid handles the entire video production pipeline for you. Once you set up a series, the platform automatically generates a new video on your chosen schedule — writing the script, rendering the visuals, and publishing to YouTube or TikTok without any manual intervention required. Understanding how this pipeline works helps you know when to step in, what each status means, and how to get the most out of every video.

The video lifecycle

Each video in a series passes through the following stages: 1. Script generation When a new video is due, TubeDroid requests a script based on your series topic and settings. During this stage the video status shows Rendering…. 2. Rendering Once the script is ready, TubeDroid assembles the scenes, applies your chosen voice and visual style, and renders the final video file. The status continues to show Rendering… throughout this process. 3. Ready When rendering is complete, the video status changes to Ready. This is your opportunity to review the video, make edits, or let it publish automatically on schedule. 4. Published After the video is uploaded to your connected YouTube or TikTok channel, the status changes to Published. Published videos cannot be edited.

Video statuses at a glance

StatusWhat it means
Rendering…TubeDroid is generating the script or rendering the video — no action needed
ReadyThe video is rendered and waiting for review or scheduled publishing
PublishedThe video has been posted to your social media channel
FailedSomething went wrong — the video needs your attention
If a video shows Needs attention in the dashboard, it means an upload or render error occurred. See Fix video upload and render errors to resolve it.

The Next Video concept

Every active series always has exactly one upcoming video queued up — this is called the Next Video. You can see it at the top of your series page. From there you can:
  • Review the generated title, scenes, and script
  • Edit any details before it publishes
  • Recreate it entirely if it doesn’t match your vision
Once a video is published, TubeDroid automatically creates the next one in the queue so your series never runs dry.
You don’t have to do anything — TubeDroid publishes videos automatically. Reviewing the Next Video is optional, but recommended if you want to fine-tune the content before it goes live.
