Before a video publishes, you can review and adjust it to make sure it matches your expectations. Some fields update instantly with no re-render needed, while others require TubeDroid to re-render the video — consuming one re-render credit. You can combine as many re-render changes as you like in a single editing session and it will still only cost one credit total.Documentation Index

What you can edit
No re-render required
These fields can be updated without triggering a new render:- Title — the video title shown on YouTube or TikTok
- Description — the post description or caption
- Hashtags — tags included with the post
Requires a re-render (1 re-render credit)
Changing any of the following causes TubeDroid to re-render the video:- Voice — the AI voiceover used for narration
- Aspect ratio — the video dimensions (e.g. 9:16 for vertical, 16:9 for landscape)
- Scenes — the individual clips and images that make up the video
- Visual style — the overall look and feel of the rendered video
If you change multiple re-render fields in the same editing session, TubeDroid only charges 1 re-render credit — not one per field changed.
AI Coins for scene edits
When you edit scenes and choose to generate AI media, your AI Coins balance is deducted based on the type of media created:| Media type | Cost |
|---|---|
| AI image (custom prompt or auto-generated) | 1 AI Coin |
| AI video clip (custom prompt or auto-generated) | 6 AI Coins |
Your video edit limit
Your plan includes a set number of edits per video. For example, if your plan allows 5 video edits, you can make up to 5 edits on each individual video — not 5 edits total across all videos in a month.Editing restrictions
If a video failed to render, you can edit it and trigger a new render at no credit cost. The re-render is free when recovering from a render failure.
