TubeDroid uploads videos to YouTube on your behalf using Google OAuth. You grant this access once per channel, and TubeDroid handles all uploads automatically from that point forward. You can connect multiple YouTube channels and assign each one to a different series.

Connect a YouTube channel

1

Open Settings

In the dashboard sidebar, click Settings.
2

Go to the Integrations tab

Click the Integrations tab at the top of the Settings page.
3

Connect YouTube

Under the YouTube section, click Connect YouTube.
4

Authorize with Google

You will be redirected to Google’s authorization page. Sign in with the Google account that owns the YouTube channel you want to connect.
5

Grant all requested permissions

TubeDroid requires every permission listed on the authorization screen to upload videos. Grant all of them to continue.
If you decline any permission, the connection will fail. You will need to start the authorization flow again and grant all permissions.
6

Return to TubeDroid

After authorizing, Google redirects you back to TubeDroid. Your channel now appears in the Integrations tab, and you can assign it to any series.

Connect additional YouTube channels

You can connect more than one YouTube channel to the same TubeDroid account. On the Integrations tab, click Add another YouTube account — the same OAuth flow runs again for the new channel. Once connected, you can select any of your channels when creating or editing a series.

Disconnect a YouTube channel

Click Disconnect next to the channel you want to remove. A confirmation dialog will appear before anything is removed.
Any series currently assigned to a disconnected channel will fail to publish future videos. Before disconnecting, go to My Series and update every affected series to use a different connected channel — do this before their next scheduled upload time.

Troubleshooting

Daily upload quota exceeded

YouTube enforces a daily limit on the number of videos that third-party apps like TubeDroid can upload on a channel’s behalf. If TubeDroid could not upload a video because this limit was reached, the affected video will show a Failed status with a “Needs attention” badge in your dashboard.
The daily quota resets every 24 hours. To resolve the error immediately, switch the affected series to a different connected YouTube channel rather than waiting for the reset.
To fix this:
  1. Connect an additional YouTube channel in Settings > Integrations if you do not already have one available.
  2. Open the affected series in My Series.
  3. Update the series to use the new channel.
  4. Save your changes.
